It offers training programs in the field of phlebotomy and related fields and turn individuals into qualified professionals. National Association of Phlebotomist’s objective is to retain new members other than constantly looking for new ones to enable more and more people to benefit from its services. 
It also aims to offer regular updates to its members on a wide variety of subjects. Also, its vision is to promote standardisation of practice through training programs. Pursuing professional regulation for phlebotomy and identify pathways to learning is what National Association of Phlebotomist focuses at.
National Association of Phlebotomist stays in touch with the Department of Health in order to broaden the scope of Practice for Phlebotomists into various areas such as Canulation, Training, Management and multi-disciplinary A&E support workers. Also, community near patient testing and specialist paediatric areas are a focus of attend for this association.
National Association of Phlebotomist also has an agenda for change. It is about making sure that individuals gain knowledge which makes them an expert in their field. The organization does this by proving constant learning opportunities in various concentrations.

This is why the unqualified support staff is taken seriously by Trusts, Line Managers and Phlebotomists. The reason being that without the supporting knowledge of these staffs the phlebotomist and others professionals cannot succeed at their work. 
Many people are not happy with the jobs that have been assigned to them. In such cases there are few things that they need to consider. They should ask themselves if they understand their job description and sign it. They should also make sure if they understand the implications and importance of a fully detailed Job Description completely.
Also, these individuals must see if they attended briefing sessions that have been available within their Trust. It is also vital to have an idea if an individual has the knowledge and skills that enable them to move to the senior level.
Individuals who feel that they have been incorrectly banded, they can take steps. They should discuss all aspects of their JD. Also, they should discuss their knowledge and skills with their line Manager.
With the help of the line Manager they should submit their appeal and express the points they feel are not right keeping in view the Agenda for Change Team within your Trust.
